Coppice Energy Advisors are a team of global energy veterans with expertise in financing,
project management, new technologies and new ventures. With a deep background in oil and
gas across the US, Africa, Europe and FSU, over the last 15 years the team has moved into
renewables, batteries and carbon capture. Highlights extend from leading the discovery of the
giant 13 billion barrel Kashagan Oil Field over 25 years ago to more recently financing what was
to become the world’s first carbon capture technology ‘unicorn’.
Our purpose is to support the energy transition as a responsible custodian of Earth’s resources.
We believe that oil and gas will continue to be an important part of the energy mix over the
coming decades. But it is also essential that new technologies be developed and brought to
market to play an ever-increasing role in the energy mix. The Coppice team are technology
agnostic; our role in this connected energy ecosystem is underpinned by a deep commitment to
sustainability as we work with our clients to deliver significant economic returns to all
stakeholders.
